My name is Susan aka Quiet Girl and about a dozen other things depending on the situation.
A couple of months ago, I bought two tickets to the 7th Annual Pickathon, which takes place this August 12th-13th on a campground near Portland, OR. Jolie Holland, Freakwater and The Be Good Tanyas are headlining, and there's about 30 other awesome acts, male and female, who are also participating.
The person who was supposed to go with me dropped out all of a sudden, but I still really want to go. I'm looking for someone else to buy one of the tickets and share gas expenses.
Each ticket is $50, and I imagine it will cost around $100 per person for gas. I'm packing my own food, but as far as I know, there will be food available at the venue.
If you're interested, please send me a note on my Tribe mail, and maybe we can meet in SF or Berkeley, depending on where you live, and work out the details.
